It is a Wolfsangel not a „literal swastika“, as you wrote. That only makes it a little better, though. Both symbols are clearly understood in this context as symbols of nazism today.
The only thing that makes it “a little better” (for the Nazis that is) is that it’s not widely recognized as a Nazi symbol by the general public just yet. Allowing them to essentially hide in plain sight :))))

It’s why I don’t feel even remotely bad calling lemmy world a nazi bar. The users are a mixed bag but the mods are outright fascists.
