Is “gamescensor” a reputable source? Because I’m having a lot of trouble believing this line is real:

“It’s a great day for gaming around the world, and that is all I can say,” said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. By joining hands with Activision Blizzard, we hope to achieve our vision of enabling people to connect and play fabulous gambling games anytime, anywhere, and anyhow they like.

So long as you own their stuff. Since they pulled shit with Bethesda, I’m pretty certain we can see blizz stuff going from playstation. It only mentioned call of duty getting a 10 year promise. No mention of diablo or overwatch.

So you’ll get to play, if you own a pc or Xbox. Microsoft can’t stand the fact Sony beat them in console sales constantly.

I’m fully on the, this deal should have been blocked side. They’re monopolising like a toddler hording toys so nobody else can play with them.

I may be wrong but didn’t Sony consistently win the console sales battles largely because they had better exclusives?

I don’t agree with this purchase, but it’s seems like they’re trying to get to a similar status as playstation in terms of game exclusivity.

Oh I’m not talking about the fact that MS bought Activision Blizzard. I’m talking about the specific quotes in the article. I can’t imagine Nadella vocally championing gambling as a good outcome from this buyout.
