Passengers aboard an Atlanta-bound flight at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas fell ill as they awaited takeoff in triple-digit temperatures.
I work for said airline as a mechanic. Unless the APU was on MEL, they should have absolutely ran the APU for air. I don’t know which aircraft type this happened on but majority if not all can run Packs on APU.
