First, I tried searching !aobprepub@bookwormstory.social. I also searched various slices of that, such as bookwormstory.social. That didn’t turn up any results.

Next, I went to https://bookwormstory.social/instances. I saw burggit.moe in the list, so I assume we’re not being blocked. I verified that on https://fba.ryona.agency/?domain=burggit.moe as well. Finally, I checked https://burggit.moe/instances and did not find bookwormstory.social in the list. Is that the problem?

Just to see what would happen, I manually constructed the URL https://burggit.moe/c/aobprepub@bookwormstory.social. Going to that URL gives a 404: couldnt_find_community.

Am I doing something wrong? I’m extremely new to Lemmy so it’s likely. Any ideas?
