Princess Tutu is a favorite of mine too! I’m surprised - it’s not a very well known show but it’s so creepy and unsettling while also being beautiful and wholesome. No other show I’ve seen has pulled that off, except maybe Madoka Magica.

Hmm. I’m a huge fan of Steven Universe. It’s the quintessential feel-good story intertwined with dread, loss, and trauma. I definitely relate to Pearl’s loss and subsequent issues. What are some of your favorites?

Holy shit, I’ve gotta watch all of those. Are they mostly anime?
I watch a lot of 90s shows - Xena, Buffy, XFiles. They have the perfect combination of camp and charm that just does it for me. ReBoot is a really good one, too. It’s the first fully 3d animated TV show and takes place inside of a computer. The main character is an antivirus program. Really neat concept.
