OK so on windows my soundblaster x4 can output both the spdif digital output thing and the analog audio to my headphones at the same time and use the volume knob to adjust the volume of them so one gets louder the other quieter.
on endevour os nothing of the sort exists, apparently this is the way to add a profile for it. however this didn’t work for me. ive also tried adding it to the 9999-custom.config but that didn’t work either. any assistance?
OKAY after some frustration, i think i figured it out. this command saved me
pactl load-module module-alsa-sink device=hw:2,1hw:2being the device id or something when i usepactl list cardsnow to figure out how to change the name
