Got a recipe you’re using? I’ve never intentionally made vinegar, but looking to get into pickling this year
One tbs sugar to one cup water, plus fruit peel for the bacteria. Im using orange peel. Way I understand is you can go two ways about it. Either anaerobic ferment it into alcohol first, and then aerobic ferment into vinegar. Or just aerobic the whole way through and it should slowly ferment alcohol that gets converted to vinegar.
My tomato plants are ready to harvest, so I’ve been making a lot of toasted tomato sandwiches and tomato soups!
So I meal prep weekly and this week I adapted a Thai soup recipe I have to use as a quinoa salad recipe and it’s really good. 10/10, healthy and delicious.
