Is there a federated replacement for really supportive subreddits? - eviltoast

As a Reddit refugee I’m looking for a federated version of the “best part of the internet” style subs, specifically StopDrinking, Keto, and IntermittentFasting were lovely places filled with supportive and amazing people. I’d be interested in finding similar new niche communities as well

Has anyone started a Lemmy instance with similar communities yet?

There’s a stopdrinking one, but unfortunately it’s on lemmy.world, and we’re not federated with them.

I like the idea of an addiction support community, and as a recovered addict/alcoholic, I’d be willing to help moderate such a community.

There is a community for addiction on raddle, but that’s not part of the fediverse.
