A very weird problem with a link that turns nsfw for no explainable reason - eviltoast

In this thread, the second link ‘midrange models’ somehow links to a NSFW ‘hot wife in kitchen’ link.

Look at my posts in the comment chain. I first thought it was an error by the poster, but the source is legit, but even when I copy the source connect still servers me the hot wife in the kitchen.

Now I found this only amusing and strange, but it could really do harm for people in a work environment.

Maybe some more people can chime in to see if the error is reproducible?

Looks like the right link for me. I did see an error reported before, where instances could federate posts under different IDs to the original host instance. Has anyone else on your instance tried this link?

I’ve had that happen for other threads, where the post links to something random and unrelated.

One of the annoying things with Lemmy design tbh

Not sure, the feddit.nl instance is quite low in population. May have to find someone to try.

The link looks fine to me btw, just parses wrong.

Ok that’s really bizarre. Might send tvdb a message about this.

          Thnx for reporting in!
