The Orville did it, with comical effect as the (obvious analogue to) Klingons end up requesting hundreds of cigarettes from their replicator.

The replicator would give you a version with synthoids instead of real stuff to give you a mild high and without being addictive. People will complain endlessly how it’s not like the real thing.

I mean… Some of the issues addictions cause are from an inability to get more, the constant seek/high cycle… Replicator would indeed make it easier to be a functional drug addict!

Hi Dr. crusher, I’m back for my magical cure me of physical addiction jab to the neck?

Goddamit Geordi, it’s the third time this week.

Done blame me. Those ferengi have some crazy ass holosuite programs these days?

Ugh, can’t you just be more like riker and get your horn honked in those things? Alien clap is so much simpler to cure.

We all have our kinks doc. I can engineer a threesome between you, Picard and Jack. Picards flute is an extra 10 Latinum though.

“Make it a jumbo flute for 20 Latinum.”

“I’ll see what I can do”

Your reminder that Replicators remove the harmful and addictive properties of requests, such that alcohol is synthetic and doesn’t get you drunk.
