    Makes sense, it’s a much more “intense” activity than just walking on flat ground

    Although if you don’t do sports at all, even walking is much better than doing nothing

    A study that analysed comprehensive data from the UK Biobank that concerned the health and lifestyle facts around four hundred and fifty eight thousand adults found that even five climbed flights of stairs a day had deep impacts in the health. Regular stair climbing was found to lower heart disease risk by almost twenty per cent when followed up on for just over twelve-and-a-half-years.
