Pingu is my spirit animal. Haha!
I usually throw on a podcast. A few I recommend:
Skeptoid - Brian Dunning turning a skeptical eye toward various myths, fake science, and common logical fallacies.
Science Faction - A science/comedy podcast that is both informative and funny if you can handle some juvenile humor and non sequiturs.
Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know, Stuff You Should Know, Stuff You Missed in History Class - The “Stuff” series of podcasts are all pretty chill. The name describes the content. Informative, or entertaining, but not so heavy that it will keep you awake.
Beyond that… I have struggled with insomnia since puberty. This isn’t my first rodeo. :(
Audiobooks are good as well. It’s nice falling asleep to the sound of someone reading you a story. Only problem is I end up training myself so that I can only fall asleep to the voice of Michael Kramer
My brain: fuck it, this is more interesting.
Been struggling with that two nights in a row now
Try years like me B)
Am literally in that situation and thanks to this post I will be going to bed in a moment…
Glad I could help
Reading a book always works for me
