I listen to Spotify on my work computer. In the last few weeks the fan always spins up when I try to play it, and I’m constantly having to reload the window for it to play anything. Playback will stop in the middle of a song sometimes.
open.spotify.com in Firefox on Windows 10. I disabled ublock. Same issue on work network and home.
My problem is that i mainly listen to Video Game OSTs, most of them not being available on Spotify. 🤷♂️
And yes, you are paying for music, just not for specific artists/albums.
