    It’s a fair take given until recently prices had remained largely static for what? 15 years?

    That being said, I see the current price as an excuse for how buggy they can be at release. If AAA studios wan to charge me $80 but their games work on day 1 and require far fewer patches just to hit a basic benchmark of “stable” then I’m open-minded. But until that happens, I’m not very keen on seeing a significant price hike. I’d also want to see crunch wiped out as part of it.
