Had to say goodbye to my little man recently, here he is watching the birds - eviltoast

He was seventeen, deep into kidney disease. The ten years I got with him were such a joy.

I feel this all too well. Lost my 18 year old kitty to kidney disease and all kinds of other comorbid stuff in june.

It hurts for a long tine, but slowly dims after a while. Now I miss her but I know she’s not suffering with anything now. She can rest comfortably.

Hang in there friend. Treasure the joy you two had.

Hardest thing about having cats/dogs… so much joy packed in a short amount of time.

My bestest buddy is about to join him as an all black gentleman kitty too. It sucks but wouldn’t change it for a second.

My little guy is just past 10 and has kidney disease too. Has been given the “hospice” diagnosis twice now and he’s still going.

So so sorry for your loss, I understand how helpless it can feel.
