This takes the cake as the most braindead thing I've ever seen the Start Menu do - eviltoast

    I often open the Start Menu purely to show the taskbar over fullscreen games in order to switch to something else.

    Uh, Alt+Tab exists.

      Alt tab only changes focus, it doesn’t bring up Windows specifically. When windows decides not to ACTUALLY keep the task bar on top, only going directly to it actually brings it up
