As imaginary numbers (square root is negative) are useful, is there any mathematical use for an imaginary number that, when multiplied by zero, gives a non-zero result? - eviltoast

    There’s a think called Dirac Delta, which, simplified, has the property that δ • 0 = 1. It’s used in physics to deal with singularities (where values would be ∞) in a meaningful way.
