As imaginary numbers (square root is negative) are useful, is there any mathematical use for an imaginary number that, when multiplied by zero, gives a non-zero result? - eviltoast

Imaginary is an incorrect term. There’s nothing imaginary about i, it’s a logical mathematical construct. I hate that imaginary is used in this context.
