I'm in the UK, it is raining and my cat is VERY MAD - eviltoast

Unfortunately I can’t control the weather.

How are you and your pet today?

My cat is in a terrible mood today too, but it’s a conflicted feline mood, where he purrs like a machine while his tail flicks and bangs around telling a very different story. The tail thumping is particularly harsh today…

Working from home today and my parrots were starting a scream-off at lunchtime. I walked in their room and told them all they get C’s for their report cards today. My cheeky african grey looked me dead in the eye and screamed “Whoo hoo!” I give up it’s Friday and I don’t care.

My dog and I are lazing about in the coolest room as it continues to be too hot outside. Humidity raising the heat index by 10 to 15 f. Stay inside with treats and naps kinda day.

I’m in the UK and last year it got so hot and humid here, and on the whole our homes do not deal well with heat. Definitely know where you’re coming from! I hope you both feel better once it cools down! 🐕

Last night, we had a huge thunderstorm. It was the kind that shakes the windows and knocks out the power for a bit. My poor pup hid in the bathroom, shivering in the dark. He was very happy when the storm passed.

Oh no! I hope he got a big hug! My cat was overjoyed that it wasn’t raining this morning, but it is very windy and it really works her up - so I now have a hyper cat, rather than a mad cat, which in practice is not much difference!
