  • Second this, especially considering how the mix of public concepts that directly inspired Rowling create a world that is actually very queer suited regardless of her ability to recognise so.

I hope we can one day walk away from her copyright and build a proper public domain magical universe but for now we have to deal with the copyrighted version as the only one that is given a budget for large media formats.

We can also celebrate the input of individual artists working on this media that extends the creators vision beyond her input that we must remain skeptical about.

The thing you didn’t understand is that people who don’t understand what you meant are trying to find the referenced comic in order to understand it. They don’t know what they are looking for and lemmy is pretty weird when it comes to searching for users apparently.

Now i actually knew your guide required you to sort by “new” and already had an idea which comic you meant.

You are correct in what you initially said but next time i recommend placing a link rather then giving people a map and then get defensive when people are getting lost.

    For every else:

    THEY MEANT THIS COMIC:

  • This and just act mature about it with a critical judgement.

Regardless what Rowling says the wizarding world, which is a mix of common mythology and has folklore huge queer potential. Its hard to find media that portrays something like it this well.

The series will have its flaws, the writer will make sure of that, but she will also be too shortsighted to recognise the extension and personal touched by everyone else involved that may not agree with her viewpoints.
