one of my friends that grew up in California had a tree in his back yard and he never purchased one until he moved to Washington State in his 20s

The fact that it became a target for attacking millennials is so crazy. That people took it seriously for a bit is laughable. To this day my wife and I make jokes that it costs a new mortgage to have one.

There’s a novel called The Overstory and a central theme of it is the trees and the people that come to a moment where a tree changed their life. They try to change to the same mindset as they think the trees have to have another moment with the trees. It’s disaster for the people ultimately and the tree is just like what did you expect, you have your time and we have had ours

Plus no dust, so when you get the machine dialed in, it just stays that way

I live in the states and I rarely get news stories about Mississippi. It’s got it’s problems but it’s not a world power that controls the voice of billions of people. Your analogy sucks.

JDVance is fucking Sancho Panza almost as a mirror… life imitating art

Holy shit! Thank you for this great news 🙏

No it doesn’t LoL but I think that’s why it is what it is. I think you have to come to the conclusion that Don is a terrorist and if you don’t see it yet, here’s another chance!

for me the biggest most amazing feature was the opendyslexia font being built into the system. Reading with dyslexia can become a difficult thing, especially if its Time Roman. But I found that I could read and comprehend effortlessly with that font. I read Candide, Don Quixote, Count of Monte Cristo… books that I would have never imagined that I could have read and wouldn’t have been able to without that font and the kindle to make it accessible and always kept my page and only gave me a page at a time so I wouldnt get overwhelmed with the size of the book. DQ and CoMC are very long stories
