Any other good “abridged” series?
I loved DBZ and sword art online back in the day.
Will talk about Linux, plants, space, retro games, and anything else I find interesting.

Good science often is. They like to be as precise as possible.
Don’t let your dreams be dreams! I know theres a lot of people have stated they are interested. I’m personally not sure what things you would like displayed to others with activityhub specifically.
Some platforms have decentralized login wihich is fascinating as a software developer. Works with activityhub too. I think it was one of the gnu projects? I’m not in a good position to do a good search right now.
I didn’t realize they were switching over to WordPress to be honest.
I’ve had good luck with yunohost if you want an all in one solution. But you can also do the same with some docker containers.
Yep, Usually people dont care until you start blasting away legit services. Then a lot of people start showing up at your door. Theres triangulation devices on https://www.tindie.com/ for amateurs that are very cheap and the pros have MUCH better equipment.
Meshtastic ( !meshtastic@mander.xyz ) is in a small range/spectrum and consolidated in LoRa. Its very unlikely to cause issues so its tolerated. Its very much a legal way to get text to a friend or community…if your local community is big enough.
I’m hesitant to recommend but https://fed.brid.gy/ makes feeds from websites that may or may not have RSS feeds. It works well with Tumblr for example.
Unfortunately that doesn’t work in lw
Thats what I bet will happen. Elon is the “fellow kids” meme in a nutshell. He bought an entire platform to look cool, only to make the platform itself stale and broken. I feel bad for the employees that will have that on their resume (or laid off) but what can you do?
At least blue sky has the bridge. It kinda works. I will still be using mastodon/Gotosocial but to others they can use whatever platform they want to talk to me. Including family.
I’m fine with it. We don’t need to be the most popular, we just need to be there consistently.
People continue to come over slowly and then they keep engaging. It’s not fizzing out so it’s been very nice.
Its all good, any good examples of this specific link? I can see some old posts from the user but nothing recent on ANY lemmy instance. So you earier comment may be correct.
Its active in the non-english circles from what I hear. Probably a part of it.
I thought I could do that on other lemmy instances?"
I can see: https://lemmy.world/u/atomicpoet@atomicpoet.org for example, it just isnt pulling anything new.
and nothing but you can see the user here: https://piefed.social/u/atomicpoet@atomicpoet.org
Actually I believe you can use Mastodon as the login in this case: https://pixelfed.blog/p/2023/feature/introducing-sign-in-with-mastodon-streamlining-sign-up-and-login-on-pixelfed
Also does anyone know how to get the post into lemmy? Im having issues importing other fediverse posts so I had to direct link. I would rather the owner of the post get recognition and likes/shares show up in mastodon/activityhub rather than just a static link on lemmy if possible.
For example on mastodon/pixelfed/etc… I can pull the remote url and create a post/share. It seems specific to lemmy.world. On other lemmy platforms, I can see posts, just older ones.
I personally like the aluminum case. It keeps them alive longer than plastic laptops.
On the inside its just like any other laptop except more solder points between the components (I used to do repair work on them). And they can sell more used since everyone wants to pay the apple tax.
At this point, with proton/wine more major software works on Linux than Mac OS.
Its nice right now…Hope it stays.
Reminds me of “humans need not apply”.
