I’m an antirealist. You won’t find any evidence for the existence of reality, because using your senses to validate your senses is a fallacy. And while cogito ergo sum is valid, cogito ergo mundus is flawed. So the only remaining reason to believe in an external world beyond the senses is religious tradition. Realism is a religion.

He tries something and sees if the patient gets better. Many of those patients are dying and he still doesn’t know what they have until he tries a treatment.

Well aren’t you just a ball of positivity? 166 comments federating over to our instance, and only 16 net upvotes across them. And if you downvote nearly half as often as you upvote, then it really seems like you’re not getting much value out of this site. You might have a nicer time if you log off and go make some friends. You know, go bowling or play some video games. I think you’ll have more fun than arguing with people on the internet, which, uh, seems to be most of what you do here.
Surely you’re capable of admitting that the Republicans are putting far more immigrants in concentration camps than the Democrats, and therefore they’re more murderous.

You have a point, and I’ll admit that rich conservatives give their followers propaganda that defies their beliefs about objective reality. If we’re talking about alternative facts, then yes, that’s the rich not caring about the truth. That’s the rich… using magic. Changing people’s beliefs to alter the subjective world their followers live in. Yes, the rich and the corrupt politicians are not realists.
And we can’t beat them if we give up the powerful weapon that is magic. They’re using magic, we should use magic too. Magic is a technology that can be used for good or evil, but when it’s used to enforce an idea of objective reality, that’s when it becomes evil. The rich DO NOT WANT their followers taking responsibility for their own perceptions. They want their followers perceiving whatever their rulers tell them! We need to break their magic by freeing the poor conservatives from their realist programming, so the working class can control our subjective world.
Given that humans already have practically infinite diversity of experience with gender along many different axes, I think that while the means may be very different, there will be lots of overlap.
