When you get to be the oldest person, every single person who was alive at your time of birth, billions of them, are now dead.
I make things with computers. Preferably artsy things, but I also like to work on random scripts and pipelines. I like D&D & video games, but don’t always have time to play them. I like pet chicken. I watch soccer, especially NWSL & USWNT, as well as some WSL and whatever happens to be on.

Not having an appetite hasn’t stopped me from binge eating in the past. I’m guessing it’s more about this part: “… potentially influencing brain processes of reward and impulse control”.

OK, that shuttle dish is really tempting.

That’s just their regular prices. I’m actually shocked they didn’t increase the price.
It’s great. We use family sharing, and everything is available.
The only thing to look out for is that because it’s so easy to suspend games by just turning off the screen, I sometimes have to go: Who was playing stardew valley, and did you save? 😆

Not on PC, but it has split screen on consoles.

That lotr game looks kind of fun. I’m always looking for good co-op games.

True, true. I guess I was thinking of the spider bite, not the trauma.

But if he had stayed on Krypton, he wouldn’t have any powers, so it took an event to activate it, which isn’t any different than the other scenarios. Batman was born rich, so he already had the potential to be batman, but it took the murder of his parents to set him on his path. Really Spiderman is the odd one out.

I’m pretty sure Superman wasn’t born with them. He got his powers from his flyby of earth’s yellow sun in the escape pod from Krypton.

Ah, yes, I tried Divinity 2 but forgot about it. I think I personally just don’t care for Larian games that much. They’re definitely in the right vein of games though, so thanks for the response.

Back to Solasta: Crown of The Magister. Playing the Palace of Ice DLC.
My wife and I keep looking for other co-op games like this, but the only one we’ve really enjoyed was Wasteland 3. If you have other suggestions, I’d love to hear them.
What we’ve tried so far: BG3, Rogue Trader, Jagged Alliance 3.

“Alexa, what time is it?” is pretty common in my house. I do use my phone a lot for it, but I’m also more likely to get distracted if I do.

Yea, I saw it on a ‘best of the year’ list and had never heard of it before then. I’m glad they had a demo, because it hooked me.
Has anyone played this co-op? How is it? I saw that only one player can see the text/interaction screens at a time… Is that pretty annoying?

Playing Absolum. I’m pretty bad at it, but I’m having fun.

It wasn’t one specific thing. We were switching from Facebook Messenger, and found ourselves not wanting to use it all that much, often falling back to Messenger. For me, personally, I also didn’t like that it didn’t have a web client.

Yea, we tried Signal a while back, but for whatever reason we didn’t care for it.
I recently started paying more attention to my blood pressure because of some new meds, and I was actually shocked how easy it is to measure it in the US. Pretty much any pharmacy let’s you measure it for free. I ended up buying a monitor to use at home, and it was less than $20.
Before this though, I had no idea about these things. I didn’t even know what the numbers meant, any time a nurse would tell me during a checkup.
