  • Advantages:

    • The screen is protected when the phone is closed
    • It allows for a larger screen while maintaining portability

    Disadvantages:

    • The screen is plastic, instead of glass. Meaning it is very easy to scratch
    • The screen has a hump where the hinge is
    • The hinge can get dirt in it, at which point you start developing lots of problems
    • They are very expensive

I personally buy mid-budget phones, which means these aren’t even a consideration. But, I probably wouldn’t buy one even at the same price due to the plastic screens being very easy to scratch and a larger screen not having much value for me. But, really it’s up to you what you value in your phone.

  • You realize that the Soviets attempted to ally with the western allies before the Molotov-Ribbentrop was signed - only to be turned away, correct?

From your linked article: "The offer of a military force to help contain Hitler was made by a senior Soviet military delegation at a Kremlin meeting with senior British and French officers…The new documents, …show the vast numbers of infantry, artillery and airborne forces which Stalin’s generals said could be dispatched, if Polish objections to the Red Army crossing its territory could first be overcome.

It’s not surprising Poland didn’t want hordes of Soviet troops in their country in 1939. A worry proven very correct when the Soviet Union and Hitler invaded Poland mere months later.

What kind of liberal ahistorical knots are you twisting yourself into?

You don’t need to carry water for the Soviet Union. As stated above, it’s clear why people didn’t like the Soviet Union then and don’t like Russia now. Again, just look at the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2014 and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, again, in 2022 for some glaring examples of why people don’t like Russia.

  • As quoted from The Guardian:

At least eight states, including Florida and Tennessee, have now introduced … legislation to prohibit “geo-engineering” or “weather modification”

So, nothing to do with chemtrails and specifically addresses geo-engineering and weather modification. Cloud seeding is a thing and dispersing particulates to reflect sunlight has also been much discussed. These states simply don’t want it happening in their state.

Also note how not a single quote in AP’s article has ‘chemtrail’ in it. Not a single damn one. The quotes they do have of the legislation specifically refer to things:

…affecting the “temperature, weather, climate, or intensity of sunlight.”
