Yet another poor soul corrupted by laziness the comforts of the modern age.
It’s totally worth it for the cat videos though.

Neo Byzantine Empire? There was a new one after the original?
Tank controls truly are divisive. I grew up playing the PS1 RE games and, to me, they are just second nature. I recommended a friend of mine to try them out, and he walked away after a few minutes lol
Have you tried Dino Crisis 2? Of all the tank controls games, it’s the one with the most fluid gameplay. The story is completely bonkers, but the gameplay is so satisfying.
By the way, thank you for recommending Crow Country! I had never heard of it and now I’m very interested.
Where did you get all that confidence from?
I get a panic attack merely by thinking about DMing a one shot.
This is sometimes considered proof of his insanity, but others suggest it may have been meant as a humiliation for the legionaries for one reason or another.
I always thought it was one of those “it never happened, but historians hated him and made up some facts to show everyone how dumb and stupid he was”.
The ‘war against the sea’ factoid isn’t even new: greek historians said the same about Xerxes (iirc he ordered his soldiers to flog the Hellespont), and that one was almost certainly fake as well.
It was no accident, they really, really hated each other’s guts.
Do you have no concept of drama?
I really liked the first one. For those who haven’t heard of it, it’s a weird platformer/collect-a-thon where you play as a spaceman (or a spacedog, funnily enough) scouting potentially livable planets for a ruthless company.
The first one was a bit undercooked, but the whole game was better than the sum of its parts. I’m curious to see if the sequel improved on the original.
For some reason, the game is still pending on GoG despite having released yesterday on Steam. I wish developers stopped the second-class citizen of their GoG users. I can understand small dev teams doing a staggered release for multiplatform games, but the game’s already on Steam, and GoG is just another PC storefront… I don’t understand.
This is hilarious. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! I was planning on posting it yesterday and completely forgot.
Spirits of Ill Omen (formerly Hound of Ill Omen) now uses the Summon Undead spell, allowing for more versatility and scaling.
“The feature didn’t scale enough, so instead of actually doing an effort to improve it, we replaced it with a generic spell that anybody could cast.” Typical 2024 design.
I wish Fox News was this wholesome.
Right in the feels.
I wonder if any of the original devs were involved with this release. In any case, saving a game from eternal oblivion after all those years deserves praise!
The other user already solved your question, so I’m just gonna inform you (in case you don’t know) that you can change your “home” screen to be the subscription page.
To do that, go to the “subscribed” or “All subscribed” page, tap the red square with the three white dots in the bottom right corner of the screen, and “set as homepage”.
I urge anyone who has not played CrossCode to give it a try. I randomly played it during the pandemic, and I’ve since not been able to enjoy gaming the way I did it before. For me, it was very close to being a 10/10.
You can’t fight fascism on the marketplace of ideas. The moment you sit at the table to talk, they spring up and punch you in the face.
Limiting circulation of fake news, holding those who spread it accountable, and forcing social networks to moderate their platform if they want to operate in the EU, should be the priority.
First France, now Germany. Seems Europe (at least some of us) has decided it won’t sit idly and let far-right extremists burn us to the ground.
Although these are all provisional fixes. The true solution would be to get the people to ditch these idiots, and to do that, we need to fight disinformation and far-right propaganda on social media. Democracy can’t survive if the voting base is too ignorant to choose its leaders.
The thing about the universal link is that it can be used by people from different instances as well, while the link provided by Summit won’t work for people outside the original instance of the community.
Maybe having it as an option would be useful?
