From what I can tell, these were taken at The Raptors at Vancouver Island. Looks like a place where you can have all levels of raptor encounters.

What an action shot! The wingspan is incredible.
Absolutely! The photographer got some great angles, and I love the paler Canadian Great Horned Owls since they’re different looking than the browner ones we have here.
