US believes Gaza ceasefire deal unlikely in Biden’s term - eviltoast

Officials in the United States believe that a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas in Gaza is unlikely before President Joe Biden leaves office in January, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The newspaper on Thursday cited top-level officials in the White House, State Department and Pentagon without naming them.

        Wait for a more malleable American president before committing to any cease fire he doesn’t need. The war sustains both Netanyahu and Hamas.

    It’s a voting year so every politician is too busy campaigning and shitting on the other side to do anything of value with the issue. Before the campaigns are over, I bet one side is going to say that if they’re elected, they’ll stop the conflict in Gaza, but they won’t
