Ideas for fixing a Kindle paperwhite (10th gen) magnetic cover - eviltoast

Hi!

First of all, let me know if this isn’t the right community. However this seems to also be about reducing waste so I think it fits here.

I recently bought a 2nd hand Kindle paperwhite (10th gen) and everything looks brand new, except the cloth on the side of the cover seems to be starting to split apart (you can see on the photo the white plastic).

Any ideas on how to fix this? I thought a very small amount of super glue but if I’m not careful i might use more than I should and it might leave white residue/stains on the cloth or sometimes it might harden too much and feel weird.

I was wondering if maybe a cloth specific glue would be worth the extra money I spend on it?..

Aso, I’m from the EU. So ideally some online store available on the EU or https://www.hagglezon.com/ would be great. Feel free to send me your affiliated links if you have them (unless it’s against the community rules).

Anyways, any suggestions are appreciated.

Edit: This community is way less “dead” than I thought it would be. Thank you everyone!
