A (punk) rock comedy directed by Allan Arkush (Hollywood Boulevard), and written by him and Joe Dante (Gremlins 1 & 2, The Howling, The Burbs). Rock 'N Roll High School stars many genre regulars, and it has music by The Ramones (duh), Velvet Underground, Nick Lowe, MC5 and Alice Cooper.
There is another movie that I’m not sure if it is a sequel or a spiritual successor its called
Rock n Roll High School Forever
I love that movie and no one ever remembers it
