    This is how addiction, disability and poverty are seen by the people in charge of dealing with those issues.

    When the evidence shows the exact opposite.

    “i think Mr. Ford actually needs to be briefed by the Ministry of Health about the positive impacts of supervised consumption sites — we do know that where they are located, we’ve seen a reduction in overdose deaths and they are effective at reducing the transmission of HIV and Hepatitis C,” said Zoë Dodd, co-organizer of the Toronto Overdose Prevention Society.

    Doug was being a compulsive liar, as per usual.

    This is very true. None of his monied interest “friends” have sold him the idea yet. Now maybe if the consumption site had some fancy spa and and a parking lot under Lake Ontario, that would get us a site in no time.
