Just make them all wear school uniforms. Much better than trying to ban the individualism you don’t like. And it also works for every other group.
Make the school uniform be an abaya. Abayas for everyone at school.
Boom, problem solved, you can no longer “tell someone’s religion by looking at them” so the Minister gets his wish.
Parents will be thankful because abayas hide things like unfashionable or shabby clothing. It’s economical and egalitarian.
Kids who were wearing them for modesty still get to feel modest and don’t get taken out of school.
Win-win-win.
God forbid they have religious freedom 🙄
