The journalists also spoke to a resident of the “DPR” [“Donetsk People’s Republic” – self-proclaimed and non-recognised quasi-state formation in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast – ed.] who has been fighting on the side of Russia for more than two years. Recently, he learned from his neighbours that his apartment had been recognised as “mismanaged property” and could be nationalised.

Удобно пиздец. And someone’s probably buying these properties, right? I have troubles imagining the mindset influencing such a purchase even outside of ethics, but the fact that reselling&rebuilding businesses are the most lucrative things there and these spheres have been already divided between the right people are beyond any reasonable doubt. The war is just a war, but profits should come at the right time. 3\5 stars, the smell of a previous owner is still present.
