[WTS][US-FL][H] DIY Millet Hybrid MAX headphone Amp with Black Gate NX Caps [W] $200 Paypal
I built this back around 2008 when the design came out. I did the “boutique” build with 1000uf and 680uf Black Gate NX and .22uf Vitamin Q caps. I did some custom blue LED stuff on the case, but they are pretty faded now over time but could be replaced easily. The gauge on top is just for show and centers op when the unit is on. Amp still sounds fantastic! I just checked the calibration from the test points and all is good. The caps alone are worth the price, but I think it is a really fun, but safe (no high Voltages), tube amp to tinker with. The case is a little scuffed here and there. This was one of my favorite projects.
