Looking to replace wired surround sound with wireless 5.0 or 5.1.
I am moving and have decided it’s time to upgrade to wireless speakers. I refuse to buy any more of those plastic tracks to hide the speaker wire. I just don’t have the time or the patience.
I currently have a high quality Polk audio wired sub, all other speakers came from a $300 combo receiver deal (so they are essentially bottom of the line, though I really had no complaints of the sound overall).
Here are my questions:

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a 5.0 or 5.1 wireless system that will work with a Sony STRDH770?

Can I mix wired and wireless speaker setups? As in, could I use wireless for everything except the sub and just use the one I have?

Any other ideas on solutions to make speaker installation simple?
