    I’m never seen a smoked turkey with such dark bark before!

    What kind of rub did you use?

      I think the color of the bark depends on what type of turkey is used,

      For example, a beech turkey will have a smooth and grayish-white bark, and the bark of an oak turkey will be more brown and rough
