Film opowiada o rodzinie z Gazy, która tuż po wojnie wkracza w konflikt społeczny. Wszystko wokół się zmieniło – budynki nie wyglądają tak jak kiedyś, ludzie również. Mohammed Almughanni stworzył interesujący i przejmujący film dokumentalny o życiu w Strefie Gazy. This coming Tuesday, another meeting of the Palestinian series in the Zaczyn Cinema. This time we will focus on the work of Mohammed Almughanni. We will watch his three short documentaries on different aspects of life in Gaza. After the film, the conversation will be moderated by Izzat Sbakhi - a Palestinian from Gaza living in Poland since 2016 - who is a friend of the director. As always - we will treat you to tea and do our best to stay as warm as possible, but we recommend an outfit “on the onion” (which means - the more clothes, the better).

The film tells the story of a family from Gaza that enters a social conflict just after the war. Everything around them has changed - the buildings don’t look like they used to, and neither do the people. Mohammed Almughanni has created an interesting and poignant documentary about life in Gaza. It is also an intimate portrait of the family of Wael and Isra Alnamla, whose psyches have been crippled by the war. The viewer looks at the entire conflict through their eyes. The work is a Polish-Palestinian co-production. The film won the Aleksander Kaminski Award (Man in Danger Media Festival, 2016) and the Grand Prix for ‘a shocking image of our world that we don’t want to see’ (Łodzią po Wiśle Film School Film Festival).
