Google Earth proposal. Yasushi Takahashi proposed to his girlfriend using Google Earth and a GPS device. He was inspired by large-scale GPS art. Takahashi’s plan was to spell “Marry Me” with a heart and arrow across all of Japan. According to Google, Takahashi quit his job in order to profess his love. It took him 6 months and started on the island of Hokkaido, Japan. And ended in Kagoshima, in the south of Japan. According to Guinness World Records, the trek crossed over 4,451 miles. Which placed Takahashi in the Guinness World Records for the largest GPS drawing in history. How did you propose to your significant other?
