I’m pretty sure it’s immich. I was just looking at it a few days ago. It’s a self hosted software similar to Google photos.

It is Immich, yes. Despite some bugs (it’s still in a very active development phase) I think it’s a very cool and impressive project!
If I had to guess, you have some photos that were backed up to Immich and then deleted on your phone.
No, this just happens somehow. But it is a known bug and will likely be fixed in the coming releases.
Your post made me check my Synology photos backup. Seems pretty good so far
