    PSA. If you are new to cats, you should always be vigilant when they play with cord-like things. Once these get to the throat cats will always feel the need to swallow the whole thing. This may end with your kitty needing surgery.

        As I said, it’s just a PSA (almost happened to my oldest). Glad to know she’s well taken care of.

      Guys, this happened to me. Mine chewed on some kind of shoestring I had lying around the house. I came home to a string coming out of his mouth. I brought him to the vet, they straightened him on the bed and pulled it right out. It went like 20cm inside my cat. Took a couple seconds to pull it out. He couldn’t eat for about a night. He was fine the next day. TLDR: NO STRING AROUND CAT.
