Does anyone know whether apexcharts cards is going to be supported moving forward. Doesn’t appear to have been any updates in some time.
Trying to work out whether it’s best to just stick to mini graph cards instead.
Is there an advantage with Apexcharts as opposed to using Grafana and embedding the graphs that way?
I don’t know, I haven’t used Grafana.
Can grafana do bar and line graphs in the same card? That is the main advantage with apexcharts for me, I can show hourly electricity price with and without grid tariffs as steplines, hourly power consumtion as a bar graph and hourly solar production as a area stepline, all in one compact card. I don’t think I could make a clear and easily readable graph like that without combining different graph types. Not that is’t perfect in any way, apexcharts has some bugs and issues so I’ll happily try something else if it can do what i need.

Yeah I have been. But have a mix of apex and mini graph. Was going to migrate them all to apex and noticed it hasn’t been updated in years. Didn’t want to migrate everything and then have it stop working in a future home assistant update. Could be worrying about nothing though.
The only other thing I’ve noticed is that it’s quite power hungry compared to mini graph, albeit it having more functionality.
