Yesterday, Joey for Reddit finally joined other 3rd party apps to be shut down because of the API fiasco. The dev shared this message:
Hello friends,
First of all I would like to apologise for not informing about what has been happening with Joey for past month. A lot has been going on IRL and Joey has been my only source of bread and butter so the API news has been pretty stressful to say the least.
I was in talks with Reddit regarding moving Joey to the paid API. But the API access to Joey has been shutoff in middle of the talk, without prior notice to me.

Once Relay switches to a subscription scheme, goodbye Reddit na talaga ako unlike ngayon na pumupunta pa rin dun semi-regularly to lurk. Parang impulse press lang kasi sa apps, nakasanayan na. Won’t happen again when it’s completely uninstalled.
The coins/awards BS a few days ago and now taking away these sites was the reminder I needed that u/Spez is an irredeemable assclown.
Mod loophole still exists for Joey but I dont think that trick will last long. Full on greed mode na ang admin kaya nadamay narin yung coins.

It took me 4 months to adjust to our stupid shifting schedule. I’m back to my normal program of working out 💪 actually now that I have a measurable goal with what I want to do hobby-wise I feel so much more motivated.
It doesn’t feel like a chore anymore lol. I like it because 1) we get stronger and 2) I get to eat more! those 4 months of adjustment was me doing my best to fast and let’s just say it was somewhat miserable.
Yung tulog ko naman–basta kapag pwede matulog natutulog na lang. Hindi naman ako maarte, basta malinis at hindi sobrang lamig. I’ve been doing breathing exercises and it does wonders for me. It’s like I meditate and then end up falling asleep eventually.
Anyway ~~~ my current animal creature obsession this week is the titan triggerfish 🤩 matututo talaga ako mag dive and I’m gonna see them in the future. I can definitely see myself just going back and forth sa dagat just to see them creatures.
I love biodiversity 😩 I remember seeing a big ass sand dollar during my last snorkel and I got so excited nagulat at natakot yung kasama ko sakin akala niya kung anong meron. Tapos nung hindi ko na makita yung bottom of the sea floor (just a dark blue) I started hyperventilating because I thought it was scary and cool and what lies deeper? What are the possibilities? I wanna see!
But my ability is still too low. So. I shall do my best 😤😤😤

Isa sa mga pinaka-malaking problema (bukod sa baha) kapag tuloy tuloy ang ulan eh yung napaka-ingay patak ng ulan lalo na kung ordinaryo lang ang bahay na wala masyado insulation ang bubong. Nakakrindi sobra ang ingay

He really tested my dodging and maneuvering abilities when it comes to personal space. Medyo mahirap maglakad when on one side there’s a wall and on the other side this guy who keeps getting closer and closer for some reason. It was kind of suffocating. We’re not that close, okay, I just met you.
Tapos gusto pa ata akong gawin booty call or something. Ahh, I was so naive and annoyingly open 🤦♀️ buti na lang I got some self-respect.

This has only happened to me exactly once. The road was wide, no cars, a group of 3 girls walking close tapos ung isa di lang braso sinagi saken, pati balikat e. I thought lasing sila nung napatingin ako tapos nagtatawanan sila with themselves after. Dunno kung lasing sila or asserting dominance, romantic or not, I can confirm tho pasimple bangga nila.
Ang style ko pag may ganyan, titiyempuhan ko sabay step back para mauna siya. Di naman ako masyado nagmamadali hehe

Why are CityMall cinemas so cheap (₱150), and yet have better projection, better aspect ratio (2.39:1, I think, basta wide), better contrast, and better sound than SM Cinemas na ₱260 na naka 1.85:1 tapos madilim pa, may ACS commercials pa?
I was skeptical on CityMall’s until I watched M:I Dead Reckoning pt. One. Damn, may malapit lang naman na sinehan.
Sa mga projectionist ng SM Cinema, bakit ganyan equipment niyo? Haha
SM cinemas has always been on the lower tier of projectionists. They jdgaf it seems. Last time ako nanood dun ni-libre lang (Green Lantern lol).
Ayala and Megaworld are inconsistent. Sometimes may decent (Vertis, Uptown), but for the most part (Eastwood, Trinoma, Lucky Chinatown) it’s comparable to SM. Yung iba naman na “gReAt CiNeMaS” na nirerecommend, dinadaan sa Dolby Atmos explosive sound effects. I just want a sharp, punchy , colorful picture, damn it!
The best SM Cinema I had so far, is their Large Format at SM Seaside (Cebu). at kakaunti lang ito meron sa Pinas.
CityMall Cinema I had recently wasn’t even Dolby Atmos, and yet the sound is really good — a really flat sound sig that I also prefer on my earphones and my 5.1 sound system at home.
