A forum… moves to a chat app? A proprietary one too? They’re practically begging to be censored just like on reddit.
More importantly, Discord sucks.

No. VPN users are banned on reddit, and discord would require to create an account on this shitty platform. Maybe they’ll understand in a few years though.
I was mostly talking about Reddit, where I guess most of the people here still have an account.
Well, that’s both good and bad.
Bad, because discord is just a stone’s throw away from doing the same kind of fuckery.
But good because the subject is important, the community is important, and it needs to be active.
But, bad, because places like the armed gay agenda, !armedqweers@lemmy.blahaj.zone exist here on lemmy, and there’s a strong presence of trans people that are willing to be armed and ready here.
Fwiw, anyone running across this that’s thinking about getting armed, but don’t have the knowledge base to move in that direction, don’t hesitate to holla at me. I’m no expert (though I am a damn good shot), but I’ll do what I can.
Also, there’s multiple gun communities on lemmy. Iirc, !guns@lemmy.world and !guns@lemmy.ml are the two most active, but !guns@lemmy.ee is there if those instances aren’t to your liking
