Yay! Western nations will get to send arms to Nazis while enriching defense contractors for years to come!

Earlier in the day, bloc member London said the G7 was expected on Wednesday to agree to a “significant international framework for Ukraine’s long-term security,” which would “set out how allies will support Ukraine over the coming years to end the war and deter and respond to any future attack.”

The Group of Seven wealthy nations on Wednesday revealed a long-term security framework for Ukraine, saying it will seek to implement a reform agenda to help provide Kyiv with “the good governance necessary to advance towards its Euro-Atlantic aspirations.”

Move along, no imperialism or neo-colonialism going on here.

No short-term massive military aid, but long-term ‘security guarantee’ as they strive for a prolonged war of attrition for the sake of their geopolitical interests.

Do you believe they should receive immediate massive military aid? Because we’re basically in a Mexican stand off with Russia and China right now. As soon as we pass a line for what intervention Russia is willing to tolerate, we will start a cascade of events that will lead to WW3, and possible nuclear war. Most of us don’t want to see the planet nuked into extinction over a small war on the other side of the planet.

Granted, I think war is inevitable. But that doesn’t mean we should rush into it. The bloodshed will get exponentially worse the minute this war becomes bigger than Russia v Ukraine, and we’re already very close to the tipping point in my estimation.

This one could have been easily avoided.

I don’t know about “easy”, but the west should have stepped up when Russia stole Crimea. Allowing them to take and keep it has just given them a stronghold to launch further attacks from.

Good. All the short term direct aid is critical, and these long term frameworks are also needed.
